We had our debut at Milan Designweek! We launched our first products at the Lambrate Design District also known as the ‘cult location for all designlovers and expert of the field’. The area is the symbol of innovation, freshness and quality.
We presented our kaleidoscopic Totem bookcase, the modular pouf: Leaf Seat as well as the handcrafted candleholders. The prototypes were ready just in time and arrived on the first day of the show. That’s what you call good teamwork! I was so pleased with the collaboration of the Birmingham based steel factory, which normally makes components for freight ships and lorries. Initially they didn’t know what to think of the weird shaped items but when it all emerged that got very excited and were keen to make it all work.
The visitors to my stand at Ventura Lambrate loved to play with the samples and enjoyed how the candlesticks interlocked. It was great to see how they created endless options with the samples.
