Design by nico had the launch of her latest collection at ICFF New York 2017! It was the first time that we participated at International Contemporary Furniture Fair, also known as the ‘go-to’ place for designlovers!
So we are excited to make the journey to the The Big Apple and it didn’t disappoint! Straight after our Milan show, where we officially launched the Poppy Bloom pouf, we were ready to set foot in New York. When you launch a collection overseas, now at ICFF, it is always exciting how it will be received. So nice to receive so many compliments and feedback but moreover that people couldn’t stop touching the soft Poppy bloom! The handmade stool is modular so diverse in its use. When you cluster them together you see a flowerbed emerging. The Poppy Bloom poufs are used in public spaces: hotel and offices. When you enter the reception area of an office how nice if you encounter a whole field of Poppies? Upholstered in tactile, knitted Wool fabric.
We showed them in different hues of pink and blue but you can order them in a whole range of colours.
Exploring global design without leaving the city? What is more to wish for! In the main hall with the regional design pavilions was also The British European Design Group. Among them also Luxe France, Interiors of Spain, The Italian Trade Commission, Brazil, Scandinavia, and The Dutch Edition presentation.
The ICFF New York fair is North America’s biggest platform for International Contemporary Furniture Fair.
